​The Fossil Ridge High School Band Program strives to be compliant with all regulations and legal obligations concerning the FRHS Marching Band and the music we use in the marching band production each year. This includes securing "permission to arrange" from the composer and/or copyright holder, as well as the payment of royalties to the composer/copyright holder for the permission to perform their works. In most cases, the "performance rights" for a piece include the ability to record the Band for the educational use of the students and staff, given that the audio or video recoding is not used in any way for the financial gain of the recorder. However, individuals can be held personally responsible for the inappropriate use of audio/video recordings. 

The FRHS Band does record each performance so our students have the opportunity to view and study each performance.
