​The FRHS Jazz Program:

Jazz 1 is an audition only ensemble. Meeting times for the 2024-25 school year are yet to be announced.

Jazz 2 is an audition only ensemble. Meeting times for the 2024-25 school year are yet to be announced.

​Both ensembles use standard instrumentation: 5 saxes; 4-5 trumpets, 4-5 trombones, piano, vibes, guitar, bass, and drums.

​Jazz ensembles start after the conclusion of the Marching Band Season, usually in the second week of November.

Both Jazz Ensembles historically attend the UNC Greeley Jazz Festival in April.
