FRHS Bands Audition Information:

All auditions for current FRHS Band students for placement into 2024-2025 ensembles have already taken place.
Seating auditions will take place in the fall at the start of the next school year. 

​If you are a student coming from outside of our feeder area, please contact the Band Directors to arrange a placement audition . 

All Audition Material can be found on Mr. Herman's and Mrs. Peterson's Google Classrooms. Please reach out to directors with any questions! Happy Auditioning!!

Honor Band Audition Opportunities: 
​1. CSU Honor Band (Grades 10–12) 
2. All-State Orchestra (Grades 10–12) 
3. NoCo Honor Band (Grades 9–12) 
4. CU Honor Band (Grades 9–12) 
5. All-State Band (Grades 11–12)

Required Etudes/Materials:

1. Specified 2-octave Major Scale for each instrument in written out rhythm at quarter note = 92
2. Specified 2-octave Harmonic Minor Scale for each instrument in written out rhythm at quarter note = 92
3. Full range Chromatic Scale in 8th notes at quarter note = 104
4. Required etudes with indicated cuts for NoCo/CSU auditions only
